About UsEstablished 2013
Fre'derick (Ziggy) Young Redd III and his family, originally from Greenville, MS, now residing in Houston, TX, faced the challenging journey of Ziggy's battle with ALL T-cell leukemia. The diagnosis came on November 14, 2012, in Jackson, MS, leading to a series of treatments at Blair Baston's Children's Cancer Clinic until June 5, 2014. Ziggy experienced his first remission in 2013 but unfortunately relapsed on January 24, 2014, undergoing numerous surgeries, inpatient stays, check-ups, and other treatments. A particularly challenging moment occurred with complete kidney failure, requiring placement in the PICU (Pediatrics Intense Care Unit) from May 2014 to April 2014. Remarkably, Ziggy emerged from this critical situation, earning the title of the "miracle child" due to unprecedented positive shifts in his medical indicators. Glory! In 2014, Ziggy faced another relapse, leading to intense treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic. Despite the challenges, Ziggy fought for a complete recovery and returned to remission. He courageously navigated through procedures, surgeries, and treatments. The family remained steadfast in prayer and expectation for the best outcome, relying on Ziggy's strength, intelligence, humor, and the power of faith. They declared restoration and healing, firmly believing in the manifestation of health through faith-filled words. Ziggy Champion Kids embodies the ongoing passion, love, memories, and legacy of Ziggy, reflecting the family's unity in facing adversity together. Unfortunately, Ziggy's last 5-6 months in the hospital, after his 10th birthday, marked the conclusion of his brave journey. The legacy of Ziggy Champion Kids stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of Ziggy and the family's commitment to making a difference in the lives of others facing similar challenges. We were pleading the blood over him that the Lord has already taken this illness away. We were filling HOPE with FAITH filled words! FAITH gives substance to HOPE. No, hope could not heal him but FAITH can/would. He shall be RESTORED back to health we declared. Believing and calling for things that are not yet manifest. God's word is medicine!
